Tottenham Hotspur confirmed that Heung-min Son has signed a new long-term deal with the club.

Tottenham star Heung-Min Son has committed his future to the club, signing a new deal that runs until the summer of 2023, as confirmed by the club’s official website, and Spurs fans took to Twitter to deliver their verdict on the news.
The 26-year-old joined Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £18 million, and despite initially struggling to establish himself at White Hart Lane, he is now considered to be on of the club’s most important players.
Son has gone on to chalk up 47 goals and 26 assists in 140 appearances in all competitions for Spurs, and he will have a huge part to play for Mauricio Pochettino’s side over the next few years.
The South Korea international can operate anywhere along the front-line, and that versatility will be a huge asset for Spurs going forward.

Pochettino has made a habit of tying down his key players to long-term deals, and it will likely be something that goes on to define his tenure in charge of Tottenham.
Some Spurs fans took to Twitter today, and reacted to the news of Son signing a new long-term deal with the club…
