Some Rangers fans on Twitter believe they’ve spotted a negative sign regarding Alfredo Morelos’s future at the club.
It’s that time of the year again and Morelos is being linked with a move away from Ibrox.
The Rangers hitman, who scored 29 goals in all competitions last season, is reportedly on Rennes’ radar, with the Ligue 1 club said to be weighing up a £15 million bid [Footmercato].
And worryingly, the exit speculation may have a bit more substance than usual.
That’s because Rangers have teamed up with Castore to unveil their home kit for the 2020-21 campaign – and the Colombian was absent for the launch.
Not only that, but the Gers changed their wallpaper to five shirts hanging in the changing room, and Morelos, arguably their flagship player, wasn’t a name on the back of any of them.
It was Jermain Defoe, James Tavernier, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield and new boy Ianis Hagi whose jerseys were displayed.
Here’s how Rangers fans reacted to these potential clues on Twitter this afternoon
