Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in snapping up Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham.

According to the Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a £35 million bid for Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon in the summer.

Spurs have been tracking Sessegnon for a considerable amount of time, and his form in the Championship this season has reportedly encouraged the Lilywhites to make a bid.

While Sessegnon would be an exciting addition for Spurs, if the north London side do bring in Sessegnon there must be question marks over whether Pochettino plans to use the youngster.

Sessegnon has played all the way down the left-hand side this season, with versatility one of his key strengths.

Sessegnon is more naturally an advanced player, but Spurs’ options in forward areas are strong.

Pochettino brought in Lucas Moura in January to add to a Tottenham attack, which already looked strong, and if Sessegnon is seen as a left-winger then his task of breaking into Spurs’ first-team could be tough.

However, if Pochettino sees Sessegnon as a left-back there may be a more obvious way for the youngster to break into Pochettino’s starting line-up.

Danny Rose’s form has been poor this season, and Ben Davies has his limitations.

And Pochettino’s plans over where he wants to play Sessegnon could have a big impact over how quickly he gets first-team chances at Tottenham.
