One of Aston Villa’s new signings will be especially excited to play on the biggest stage in European football next season.

Aston Villa are set to lose one key player this summer in Douglas Luiz with HITC understanding that the deal to take the Brazilian midfielder to Juventus is advanced.

The Midlands club are set to receive around £25 million for the midfielder as well as two players in the form of Enzo Barrenchea and Samuel Iling Junior.

Iling Junior, the English winger, looks to be a very exciting signing for the Midlands club and it appears that Villa are set to offer something particularly important to him.

Aston Villa able to offer Iling Junior exactly what he wants

Under Unai Emery last season, the Villans finished in fourth place in the Premier League, an astonishing achievement for the Spaniard.

Reaching the Champions League is a first for Aston Villa in the Premier League era and the club will hope to attract more proven players and top quality prospects.

It has been a slow start to life in the Juventus first team for Samuel Iling Junior, who only scored two goals in the Serie A since his debut for the Turin giants.

Despite this, he is a very promising winger and with Villa in the Champions League, it appears that the club have matched his ambitions already.

“It made me feel like I want to be here all the time,” the winger told The Athletic after his debut in the competition in 2023.

“This is where the big boys play. You can only get into the Champions League if you’re a good team, so you’re not playing against anyone that’s not good enough.

“But I can’t rest on my laurels. I’ve just got to keep going. Why can’t I do more? There’s so much more to do, taking those steps to get my name into the starting line-up, playing in the Champions League consistently.”

Iling Junior could become a key player for Villa

The English winger has superb dribbling ability and developed a knack for getting out of tight situations with his superb ability on the ball.

With Moussa Diaby and Leon Bailey winger options for Villa, he might have to battle to get into the team, but this will be the case for almost any signing at his early stage of development.

However, at just 20 years of age he has plenty of time to develop and grow in the Midlands and could well force his way into the Villains first team sooner rather than later.
