Nelly Korda’s latest LPGA Tour season came to a close without a victory.
Korda called it “a grind” after wrapping up her year with a third-place finish at the CME Group Tour Championship.
Meanwhile, world number one Jeeno Thitikul, who sits just above Korda in the rankings, successfully defended her title at Tiburon Golf Club.
The Thai star has now won three times this year and has moved up the money list thanks to her latest success.
Where Nelly Korda needs to improve if she wants to win again in 2026

This comes after her dominant 2024 season, where she picked up an impressive seven wins, making the contrast even more pronounced.
But she should have a good idea of what areas need attention as she heads into the off-season.
Even without a win, her Strokes Gained numbers stood out. Korda led the LPGA Tour in SG: Off the Tee and was third in both SG: Total and SG: Scoring.
She also finished fourth in SG: Tee to Green, plus top 25 rankings in both Approach and Putting.
However, her short game still needs work – she finished 43rd around the greens, despite climbing 15 spots late on.
How Nelly Korda performed around the greens in 2025
Although Korda did not secure her 16th LPGA Tour career victory, she has built significant confidence to carry into the 2026 season.
In only 19 starts, she consistently made the cut and achieved a top-10 finish nine times.
On top of that, Korda finished the season second in scoring average behind only world number one Thitikul, who had a historic year.
Thitikul broke the LPGA’s scoring record with an average of 68.681, just edging out Annika Sorenstam’s long-standing mark of 68.697 set back in 2002.
Two-time major champion Korda is set to make her return to Tiburon Golf Club for the Grant Thornton Invitational before the year 2025 concludes.
She will be paired with Bud Cauley for the event and will be joined by fellow LPGA stars Lydia Ko, Charley Hull and Lexi Thompson among others.
