Ian Wright wasn’t a happy person on Instagram when Alan Shearer left Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno out of his Team of the Week.

Premier League games are coming thick and fast, so it’s hard to keep up with what is happening, as another set of matches will drop in midweek.

Nonetheless, for the previous round of fixtures, Arsenal recorded a goalless draw against Manchester United.

Aston Villa, who have a certain Emi Martinez in goal, secured a gutsy 1-0 win at Southampton and Shearer opted to put him in between the sticks.

When Shearer posted the TOTW on his Instagram page, Arsenal legend Wright asked: “Where’s Leno?” added with an angry face emoji.

And the Premier League’s all-time leading goalscorer brutally responded by saying: “Probably at home.”

Wright wasn’t the only one questioning Shearer’s Team of the Week because their fellow BBC pundit, Micah Richards, was disappointed that Callum Hudson-Odoi didn’t make the cut.

He helped new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel to his first win as boss, as they brushed aside Burnley.

Well, Arsenal’s £20 million goalkeeper [BBC Sport] has another chance to prove his worth and get into Shearer’s TOTW when Mikel Arteta’s side take on Wolves tonight.
