Well, Bale ended his time at Los Angeles FC abruptly after initially signing a 12-month contract with the American side back in June.
Despite the sudden termination of his contract, the man born in Cardiff is still living in Los Angeles, California.
That is according to Wales Online.
Bale is currently living in LA with his wife Emma Rhys-Jones and their four children, Alba Violet, Nava Valentina, Axel Charles and Xander Frank Bale.
However, now that he has called an end to his footballing career, it is expected that the Welshman will return to his homeland of Cardiff.

At one stage in his career, the 33-year-old was earning almost £600,000-a-week at Real Madrid, which allowed him to purchase a number of top-end vehicles (Salary Sport).
The Daily Star claim that Bale owns a £156,000 Lamborghini Huracan, £152,000 Bentley Continental GT and also a £230,000 Ferrari GTC4Lusso – as well as other expensive motors.

During his time in LA, Bale temporarily moved out of his £4m mansion in Vale of Glamorgan, which has six bedrooms, a dressing room, study, and a custom golf course in the garden.
Speaking about his customised golf course, Wales Online quote Bale as saying: “I had a lovely bit of land here and it was something that I really wanted to do and I decided that I would love to make a dream come true and build a mini golf course in my house.
“It was a lot of hard work and a lot of craftsmanship. It’s so much better than I ever thought it could be.”
Clearly, Bale has plenty to keep him busy in his retirement.
