When will Messi return to PSG?
That’s what some supporters of the Ligue 1 champions will be wondering after seeing their side struggle in midweek.
Paris Saint-Germain laboured to a 2-1 victory at home to Strasbourg.
Kylian Mbappe, beaten by Messi in the final of the World Cup a couple of weeks ago, scored a last-minute penalty to gift Christophe Galtier’s side all three points.

When will Messi return to PSG?
According to manager Christophe Galtier, the 35-year-old has been given an extended holiday until January 1.
This means not only will he have missed the win over Strasbourg, but Sunday’s Ligue 1 clash with Lens will also have to be negotiated without the World Cup winner.
Galtier said via FIFA: “We made the decision to give him until 1 January, so he will be back here with us on the second or third to get back into the swing of things after 13 or 14 days off.”
Friday’s French Cup clash against Chateauroux could represent a likely return for the South American.
