Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing Jack Grealish and Emile Smith Rowe messing about in England training.
What’s the story?
Well, both Grealish and Smith Rowe can be seen juggling the ball surrounded by their England teammates.
Then, the Manchester City maestro can be heard describing the Arsenal No.10 as the ‘Croydon De Bruyne’ – a nickname that is beginning to gain some traction.
It’s a comparison that Martin Tyler has made on Sky Sports, albeit perhaps too often, and should be seen as a real compliment to Smith Rowe.
De Bruyne is arguably the best midfielder in Europe, so if the 21-year-old can become even 50% as good as him, he’ll have done well.
Nevertheless, it was pleasing to see Smith Rowe mingling with Grealish – he seems to have settled into international football well.
Arsenal gem Emile Smith Rowe could oust Jack Grealish

At the moment, Smith Rowe is arguably having a better season than Grealish, who joined Manchester City in a deal worth £100m.
The 26-year-old has only scored one goal in nine Premier League appearances this season, and was named on the bench for the Manchester derby.
In Smith Rowe’s case, he has already scored four Premier League goals in 11 Premier League appearances.
Interestingly, both Grealish and Smith Rowe are eerily similar players.

Both wear their socks low, both like to cut inside from the left on their stronger right foot, and both love dribbling with the ball.
In our view, these similarities mean Gareth Southgate is unlikely to use both at the same time, so if Smith Rowe keeps his form up, it’s not impossible that he ousts Grealish from the international scene.
For now, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about Grealish’s remark…
