Wolves and Liverpool are two of a number of clubs that will have to play an FA Cup third-round replay after drawing over the weekend at Anfield – but when is the date of the third-round replays, with Liverpool set to go to Molineux?
In an enthralling clash on Merseyside, Liverpool’s shaky form continued. A woeful mistake from Alisson, reminiscent of Loris Karius rolling the ball out to Karim Benzema in the Champions League final, saw Goncalo Guedes score the first.
Darwin Nunez equalised, and Mo Salah put the Reds 2-1 up. But Wolves came back through Hwang Hee-chan, and came mighty close to winning – only for Toti’s goal to be ruled out. Wolves and Liverpool will have to go again.
They are not the only clubs set to undergo a replay. Leeds and Cardiff City also drew 2-2, with Leeds coming from two goals down to draw in Wales. Bristol City and Swansea, an all-Championship clash, ended in a 1-1 draw at Ashton Gate.

West Brom salvaged a replay against Chesterfield in a brilliant 3-3 draw, while Boreham Wood and Accrington Stanley drew 1-1. Luton and Wigan also played out a 1-1 draw. So, six ties that will be replayed – but when will that take place?
Date of FA Cup replays with Liverpool set to go to Wolves after 2-2 draw
The replays of the third round have been pencilled in for January 17, and January 17. A Tuesday and a Wednesday, with matches yet to be specifically decided with TV companies set to pick the specific games they want to broadcast.
The likelihood is that Liverpool and Wolves will be on television, as will Leeds and Cardiff. Nothing has been decided yet. But the games will be played in the middle of the week, with the fourth round played the weekend after (27-30).
