Floyd Mayweather retired with a flawless 50-0 record, never once being defeated during his iconic career in the ring.
While he was known for being quick-witted on the mic, there were still a few occasions where his opponents got one over him verbally.
Conor McGregor was relentless during their four-city media tour back in 2017, leaving Mayweather with little room to fire back.
However, Mayweather settled things in the ring with a tenth-round TKO after landing a 15-punch combination.
He stopped Ricky Hatton in the same round they met in Las Vegas nearly ten years earlier, on December 8, 2007.
Floyd Mayweather gets a rude welcome from Ricky Hatton’s home crowd

Mayweather made the trip to Hatton’s home turf to help promote their unbeaten showdown between 39-0 and 43-0 records.
The Englishman got the crowd on his side by poking fun at the American, who seemed unsure how to respond.
“I’ve missed my son, my six-year-old son, but I probably haven’t missed him quite as much as you would think because I’ve had the misfortune to spend the full week with another f—ing six-year-old,” said Hatton, drawing laughs from a room full of locals.
“Floyd’s gonna run away all night – he says he isn’t, but he is – he’s gonna run away all night.
“I know I’m gonna have to be fast on my feet to catch him.
“So I’ve got two wonderful sparring partners coming in – Forrest Gump and Carl Lewis.”
Mayweather gave it a go with some comebacks of his own, but even he had to laugh along when they did not quite land.
Still, it was ‘Money’ who ended up having the final say when he stopped Hatton in front of 30,000 Brits who had made the trip over for the fight.
Floyd Mayweather set to face Mike Tyson in 2026
Hatton tragically passed away in September, not long after coming out of retirement.
Mayweather may have retired from professional boxing back in 2017, but he has not stayed away from the ring.
Now 48, he has agreed to fight heavyweight icon Mike Tyson in 2026.
The bout is expected to take place in March 2026 in Africa.
