When is the FA Cup fourth-round draw? Time and date details explained

The FA Cup third-round is well underway, meaning that the fourth-round draw is just around the corner for England’s oldest footballing competition.

This round that has seen Championship and Premier League clubs enter the tournament has already thrown out some incredible results, with Newcastle United being knocked out by Sheffield Wednesday as National League side Wrexham eliminated Coventry City in a seven-goal thriller.

When is the FA Cup fourth-round draw?

The draw for the fourth-round of the FA Cup will place this Sunday afternoon (January 8th) at 16:05pm GMT, just before the headline clash of the third-round as Manchester City take on Chelsea.

This means that some big clubs will remain in the draw despite not finding out their destiny in the competition, with Liverpool set to take on Wolves in a replay as Arsenal face League One side Oxford United on Monday night.

Fourth-round ties are currently scheduled to be played between January 27th and January 30th, meaning that supporters of Sheffield Wednesday, Grimsby Town and Wrexham won’t have to wait too long to see their teams potentially face off against some of England’s biggest sides.

And with more ties taking place today and tomorrow, there’s every chance that more upsets are on the cards in the FA Cup this year, with League Two side Stevenage taking on Aston Villa later today with Hartlepool United hosting Stoke City.
