ENGLAND V ITALY TEAM NEWS
As it stands, Gareth Southgate has a full squad available to him with no injury headaches.
Of course, he’ll have to assess how tired the players are after the run to the final and manage any players carrying knocks.
He usually makes changes to his lineup, but Southgate might well be tempted to name an unchanged team here.
WHAT ARE THE CHANCES THAT ENGLAND BEAT ITALY? OUR PREDICTION
This one is a very close one to call. England and Italy have been the best two sides in the competition.
Mancini’s men were imperious in the group stage, but haven’t been hugely impressive in knockout matches against Austria and Spain.
They have wily defenders and pose a threat on the counter-attack and have an extra day to recover.
But optimism is the order of the day here. We’re backing the team to get the job done and end 55 years of hurt in front of a delirious Wembley.
Our Prediction: England 1-0 Italy
