Former Leeds striker Whelan was following the match, and he has given his take on the final result.
Whelan said at full time on BBC Radio Leeds (3:52pm, January 31, 2021): “When you are talking about intensity and closing down, but their aggression today has been fantastic. When you look at man to man, you know, battles all over the field, I think we have come out on top on pretty much every single one.”
Former Leicester striker Gary Lineker was following the game, and he was impressed by the goal from Dallas.
