Leeds United centre-back made his return in the Carabao Cup.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has been careful not to rush Pontus Jansson back to action after the World Cup.
Jansson featured for Sweden has they reached the quarter-finals of the tournament.
The centre-back returned to Leeds only a week before the Championship season started, and was left out of their opening tow league games.
Jansson made his return for Leeds against Bolton last night in the Carabao Cup, but did not manage to impress everybody.
Former Leeds player and pundit Noel Whelan was left feeling a bit underwhelmed with the defender’s performance, and questioned his fitness levels.

Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds’ post-match coverage of the 2-1 win: “You could see a bit of match fitness wasn’t there in first half.
“Whether that’s down to mentality? He should be fitter. Having played at the World Cup, he should be fitter than a lot of Championship players.
“There were mistakes, he was too casual at times. The second half [he was] much better.”

In Jansson’s defence, getting used to Marcelo Bielsa’s demands was always going to take a bit of adjusting to.
Whether he did enough to earn a place in the Leeds team to face Rotherham this weekend is unclear, but the team’s winning record so far this season means they are under no pressure to rush him back.
