Wolverhampton Wanderers officials are confident that Morgan Gibbs-White will stay amid interest from Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United among other clubs, according to The Athletic.
The Athletic have reported this morning that despite interest from Southampton, Fulham and AC Milan, the Wolves hierarchy are confident that Gibbs-White ‘can be brought back into the fold and play a major role next season’.
The playmaker is out of contract at Wolves in 2024, and, according to the report, ‘the general consensus is he will stay, regardless of whether he signs that new deal’.
Earlier this week, The Sun’s Alan Nixon reported on Patreon that Nottingham Forest are planning a bid of £20 million for the 22-year-old.
TEAMtalk reported in March that Leeds are among a number of clubs who are keen on securing the services attacking midfielder Gibbs-White.

Could Morgan Gibbs-White leave Wolves for Leeds?
In our view, if Leeds United make a big bid for Morgan Gibbs-White in the summer transfer window, then they could well be able to sign him.
The 22-year-old will want to be a regular next season, especially as he did so well during his loan spell at Sheffield United this past campaign.
If Leeds are willing to offer the youngster that and are able to agree on a transfer fee with Wolves, then a move could well happen.
Gibbs-White scored 12 goals and gave 10 assists in the Championship this past season.
