Tottenham are closing in on a deal for Serge Aurier of PSG which could well affect Kyle Walker-Peters’ playing time.
According to the Express both Chelsea and Manchester United are also interested in Aurier, while there is competition from Italy in the shape of Inter Milan and Juventus.

However, Spurs are believed to have won the race to sign the right-back, as PSG look to offload some of their squad to try and balance the books following a world record £198m deal to sign Neymar from Barcelona this summer.
Yet if Aurier does indeed complete his switch to North London, what will the 24-year-old’s arrival mean for the emergence of academy product Kyle Walker-Peters?
With Kieran Trippier injured and Kyle Walker having been sold to Manchester City, Walker-Peters made his debut for the club in the Premier League opener against Newcastle United, putting in a man-of-the-match performance as his team won 2-0.
When fit Trippier will certainly be ahead of the 20-year-old in the pecking order, while Aurier would be a relatively expensive acquisition and would expect regular game time.
Walker-Peters may be a raw talent currently and will need time to develop, but as deputy on the right side of defence that could well happen, whereas being third choice will limit his opportunities drastically.
