West Ham United have been linked with a host of managers as the pressure increases on Slaven Bilic.
West Ham are sitting precariously over the relegation zone on goal difference after a torrid start to the new Premier League season.
Just two wins from their first nine at the quarter way stage has seen speculation swirl over Bilic’s future at the club with the likes of Rafa Benitez, Roberto Mancini and Carlo Ancelotti linked.
A humiliating 3-0 defeat at home to Brighton last time out in the league saw the knives come out for the Croatian who was reportedly given just two games to save his job as a result.
He won one of those in stunning fashion as the Hammers came from 2-0 down to beat bitter rivals Spurs 3-2 in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
But Bilic has had one-off results in the past and all eyes will be on their performance against Crystal Palace this weekend.
According to The Sun former Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini tops the list of candidates for David Sullivan and David Gold.
Pellegrini won the Premier League with City before being replaced by Pep Guardiola and is currently said to be unsettled at Hebei China Fortune.
But should West Ham want to make him their next manager, they would have to beat off competition from Everton and Leicester City and also make the Chilean one of the best paid bosses in Europe.
That’s because Pellegrini has a staggering £36 million deal at the aptly named Fortune, as reported by Sky Sports.
Pellegrini currently earns more than £12m a year in the Chinese Super League and he has two years left on his contract but is said to be keen on a return to the Premier League.
