Frances Tiafoe is one of tennis’ biggest draws, despite the troubles he has endured in 2026.

After all, it has not been his finest year on tour, despite reaching the quarter-finals of the French Open.

A three-time semi-finalist at major tournaments, the 27-year-old has showcased his penchant for performing on the biggest stages.

He brings infectious energy and enthusiasm no matter who or where he plays, and his American status only adds to the intrigue behind his consistent support.

Even Taylor Swift has made the trip to watch Tiafoe, with the two actually crossing paths back in 2024.

Tiafoe, speaking after a match just last year, even revealed the contents of their conversation.

The player admitted to having been surprised by Swift’s knowledge of the sport, as he admitted: “We go into this suite, and the first person we see in this suite is Taylor. I’m like, ‘Try to act like you’ve been here before.

“I appreciate greatness so much, and seeing how cool she was, she’s got my ultimate respect.

“She was very knowledgeable about what I was doing. She was like, ‘Man, we wanted to watch you play in the final at the \[US\] Open,’ and … ‘Trav loves you,’ and this and that.

“We were drinking all day together. She was so cool. One of the most humble people for who she is. She’s amazing, and hopefully, we can do that again.”

Frances Tiafoe always brings the stars to his matches

Tiafoe, whilst his 2025 season might not have been the most successful, remains a huge draw.

After all, his star power arguably transcends tennis, despite not actually being at the top of the field.

Instead, it’s his incredibly likeable personality and explosive play style which demands interest wherever he plays, with the US Open of course where he is always well-supported.

Michelle Obama is one of the most famous names to have turned out for Tiafoe, but other stars like Jamie Foxx and Patrick Mahomes have also been pictured at his matches too.

Even at the French Open in 2023, there was a row that boasted Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and Queen Latifah, all of whom had come just for him.

Tiafoe’s star power, despite the fact that he sits 30th in the world rankings, remains undeniable.
