Steve Kerr told Draymond Green to ‘go home’ in heated exchange
According to the leaked audio from the broadcast, Kerr criticised Green for repeatedly arguing with referees, warning him that it could lead to another technical foul.
Green didn’t take kindly to these comments, immediately going on the offensive at Kerr. In response, the head coach told him to walk away to avoid frustration.
Green: “F— you!”
Moody: “Come on, Dray… Come on, man.”
Kerr: “If you don’t want me to talk to you, go home… How am I supposed to coach you, Dray?”
Players like Moses Moody got between them to defuse the situation. Green did not return to the court for the rest of the night, finding a place on the bench after cooling off.
The incident underlined the tension within the Warriors’ locker room, where competitiveness can boil over, and things can get incredibly heated.
