West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after spotting something in the background of a tweet from Łukasz Fabiański.
The 36-year-old uploaded a photo of him and his teammates at Rush Green, where they were preparing for today’s game against Chelsea.
However, eagle-eyed supporters noticed Declan Rice in the photo.
The BBC claimed that West Ham’s No.41 would miss four weeks, after suffering damage to his knee while with England.
However, earlier than expected, it seems like the 22-year-old is already back in training.
Having said that, Rice was wearing trainers, while his teammates had their boots on, suggesting that he was merely watching rather than partaking.
Interestingly though, he was wearing one of those training devices that track his data, such as running statistics and so on.
That much suggests that he was, at least, doing a bit of jogging at Rush Green, from our point of view.
David Moyes must be desperate to have Rice back.
West Ham lost their last game to relegation-threatened Newcastle, putting a big dent in their hopes of reaching the Champions League.
The sooner Rice is back, the better – he has become an absolutely pivotal member of West Ham’s starting XI, if not the most pivotal.
