Leeds United are close to confirming the signing of Norwegian goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Yorkshire side have a total agreement for the 20-year-old shot-stopper.
Moreover, a work permit is likely to be approved for the youngster ahead of his move to Leeds from Scandinavia.
With Marcelo Bielsa allowing Kiko Casilla to return to Spain this summer on loan, Leeds were in need of a second-choice goalkeeper this window.
And the club have seemingly identified one in the form of Klaesson.
Indeed, the youngster is one of Norway’s most exciting youngsters after asserting himself as the first-choice keeper at Eliteserien side Valerenga. Klaesson broke through into the senior team as a teenager.
Leeds fans are buzzing about Klaesson signing
Furthermore, in three seasons, Klaesson has made over 50 appearances for the Norwegian outfit, and Leeds have now clinched his signature ahead of next season.

Whilst Illan Meslier is the clear number one at the club, Klaesson will provide the French youth international with good competition in training as well as in cup games.
And Leeds fans on social media are delighted that Klaesson is now a wrapped up deal, with the club announcement the final piece of the puzzle.
