Manchester United reportedly want Tottenham duo Eric Dier and Lucas Moura.

According to the Daily Star, Manchester United are keen to snap up Tottenham Hotspur duo Eric Dier and Lucas Moura in 2020.
United looked unbelievably flat once again on Sunday afternoon, losing 2-0 to West Ham United, and it’s clear that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs new signings in the next couple of transfer windows.
There was a lack of quality in midfield and any sort of threat in attack, so United now want two players who have been unable to nail down regular starting spots at Tottenham.
Dier’s versatility may be appealing, but he’s endured struggles over the last year, and may not be an inspiring addition for many fans, yet Moura could at least get fans on the edge of their seats.
Moura, 27, hit 15 goals last season in a strong campaign, but is finding it difficult to break past Son Heung-min and Harry Kane as Tottenham’s leading attackers.
The Brazilian forward has been linked with United in the past, as they battled to sign him from Sao Paulo way back in 2012, but were beaten by Paris Saint-Germain.
Last year, The Mirror carried quotes from Ferguson’s book ‘Leading’, in which he admitted that he wanted Moura because he felt that he was ‘immensely talented’, offering £24million to get him.
United ended up going all the way to £35million, but PSG beat them at £45million, before they ended up selling him to Tottenham for £25million in 2018 (BBC).

Ferguson admitted that he and David Gill weren’t prepared to go to £45million for Moura, but he may at least give a new move a seal of approval as Solskjaer seeks more pace in the final third.
“Right towards the end of my time at United we were pursuing Lucas Moura, the immensely talented right winger who, at the time, was playing in his native Brazil for Sao Paulo,” said Ferguson. “We offered £24m for him, which was upped to £30million and again to £35million, but Paris Saint-Germain signed him for £45million. David Gill and I were just not prepared to go to those sorts of levels,” he added.
A move seems unlikely given that Moura only penned a new five-year deal last month, meaning his £80,000-a-week deal runs until 2024 (Spotrac), and United would have to pay decent money for a player yet to even really make himself a nailed-on starter at Spurs.
