Newcastle United are said to be keen on Danny Rose, as Steve Bruce looks to sign a new left-back.

If Newcastle United do sign Danny Rose they will sign the player who shocked Sam Allardyce the most during his brief stint as England manager.
If Rose did sign for Newcastle it would be an eye catching transfer.
And the Spurs left-back comes highly recommended from former Newcastle boss Allardyce.
Allardyce was only in charge of England for a short spell, but he suggested that Rose was the man who shocked him the most.
“Danny Rose at left-back,” he told Monday Night Football on Sky Sports when asked which player surprised him the most, during his time with England.
“He pulled a hamstring and never said anything until after the game was finished, which wasn’t very pleasing for Tottenham and Mauricio Pochettino as I know, but for me, that showed real character because we only won in the last minute.”

Rose would surely be a great addition to Newcastle’s squad, as they are short of options at left-back currently.
Newcastle only have Paul Dummett and Achraf Lazaar who can play there, and Rose would be a considerable upgrade on either.
Rose has been left off Tottenham’s pre-season tour, as he looks to be heading towards the exit door.
