Speculation is mounting that Arsenal want to sign Christian Pulisic.
According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea’s American Boy is on the Gunners’ radar, along with other Premier League outfits.
The former Borussia Dortmund attacker is enjoying a decent World Cup with the USA and, on Friday, helped them to a well-deserved 0-0 draw against England.
Pulisic struck the crossbar on that occasion – a reminder of how lethal he can be.
Last week, Roy Keane remarked that he was ‘obviously a talented boy’ but called on the 24-year-old to be a lot more consistent, showing his quality more regularly.

He said on ITV Sport [21/11/2022]: “He’s obviously got his injury problems. He’s obviously a talented player, he’s got a good record at international level. So it will be interesting to see how he does in the tournament because he’s got that potential but we need to see more of it. He needs more luck with the injuries but he’s obviously a talented boy.”
As usual with Keane, the Manchester United legend is spot on.
In terms of talent and ability, Pulisic is a monster but consistency does occasionally let him down.
He has only started one Champions League game for the West Londoners this season and isn’t guaranteed a spot in the starting lineup for Premier League affairs, either.
Still, Mikel Arteta, whose Arsenal side are top of the Premier League standings, has proven that he can make inconsistent players a lot more effective on the regular, such as Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey.
And it’d be fascinating to see if the Spaniard can repeat the feat with Pulisic.
