Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has been showing off his customized glove despite his ongoing injury issue.

It has been a seriously impressive start to the season for the Brewers, with a 59-37 record heading into the All-Star break.

Misiorowski is already looking like one of the frontrunners to get his hands on the National League Cy Young Award.

However, the 24-year-old is suffering from arm fatigue having thrown 670 pitches this season of at least 100 mph.

He has now made the headlines after showcasing his new glove, which displays a Pokémon card on the outside of the mitt.

What Pokémon card Jacob Misiorowski has in his customized glove

Misiorowski is not expected to start in the Brewers’ home series against the Miami Marlins after the break, which means the wait to see his glove will go on.

The Pokémon card in question is a Charizard Japanese 006 Neo Premium File 2 Promo Reverse Holo.

Funnily enough, the card is actually older than Misiorowski having been produced back in 2000.

Pokémon card pricing site Card Market values the card – at the time of writing – in the region of $350 for a card in ‘near mint’ condition.

As well as the ability to display the selected card, the yellow and red glove features Misiorowski’s name in the Pokémon font.

Whether the card ever gets used during a game remains to be seen, but it is unlikely the card would make it out of a game in the same condition.

The glove has been created for the All-Star game, but arm fatigue is expected to keep the 24-year-old out of action.

“It [stinks] to miss a start and the All-Star Game, but I know it’s the right thing to do in this situation,” Misiorowski told ESPN.

The Brewers hold a comfortable lead in the National League Central, but Misiorowski’s health will likely have a big say on what is possible for the remainder of the season.
