Everton fans have taken to Twitter to react after being reminded of what Bill Kenwright said earlier this year.
As tweeted by the BBC’s Phil McNulty, Kenwright said that a very famous football club told him they are inspired by Everton’s decision making.
You can see McNulty’s tweet below.
Now, you can understand why that has annoyed some fans.
Everton haven’t exactly made good decisions since David Moyes left Goodison Park, to say the least.
Roberto Martínez, Ronald Koeman, Sam Allardyce, Marco Silva and Carlo Ancelotti have all managed the Toffees since the Scot’s departure.
All of those managers were sacked, apart from Ancelotti who recently quit to rejoin Real Madrid.

Away from the world of management, Everton haven’t exactly had much success in the transfer market either.
The Toffees have made some absolutely dreadful signings in recent years.
Everton’s woeful signings
Notably, spending £25 million on Morgan Schneiderlin was a bad decision, as was spending £25 million on Yannick Bolasie.
The £23.6 million signing of Davy Klaassen was also a disaster.
Spending £35 million on Alex Iwobi was also one of the poorest deals in recent Premier League history, in our view.

So, whichever club is making decisions based off what Everton do probably isn’t in the best shape right now, in all honesty.
Let’s see what the Everton fans on Twitter have been saying about Kenwright’s bizarre comments…
