Tosin Adarabioyo is a player reportedly in demand, with Leeds United among the clubs linked with the Manchester City defender.
90min reported in March of interest in the 22-year-old centre-back from Leeds, Wolves, Everton, Leeds, Leicester City and Southampton among a number of clubs who want to sign the youngster.
The English youngster spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Blackburn Rovers from City.
According to a new report in 90min, City have told Adarabioyo that if he agrees to a new contract, then he could push for a place in the first team, with the club having been impressed with his displays this past season.
The report has claimed that the Citizens believe that the youngster could become a valuable member of Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad.
However, according to the report, City first want Adarabioyo to sign a new contract, as he has just 12 months left on his current deal.
Leeds United to miss out?
With Ben White returning to Brighton and Hove Albion after a loan spell at Leeds in 2019-20, the West Yorkshire outfit do need to sign a defender in the summer transfer window.
Adarabioyo did well during his loan spells at West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn in the Championship, and given that he is only 22 years of age, he could improve as a footballer under the coaching of Marcelo Bielsa.
However, with City reportedly impressed with the youngster, it seems that Leeds will miss out.
