Some Aston Villa fans believe there has been another twist in the transfer saga between Jack Grealish and Manchester City.
The Athletic’s Sam Lee replied to a post on Twitter commenting on how it was ironic that Jack Grealish is thinking about signing a new deal with Villa on the same day Harry Kane is likely regretting penning a long-term contract with Tottenham.
However, the tweet, which was screenshotted, has now been deleted.

As reported by Sky Sports News, the England captain did not show up at Hotspur Way yesterday after a short holiday. Kane was due to return to Spurs’ training ground. However, the striker never appeared.
It has added fuel to the fire that Kane is pushing a move to City, who need a striker this summer and have identified the Tottenham number 10 as their number one target.
As well as Kane, Grealish has emerged as a target for the Premier League champions. Although talks appear to be progressing well between the player and club, it seems that the Villa star is having second thoughts.
Indeed, the Midlands club are showing plenty of ambition this summer in signing the likes of Emi Buendia and Leon Bailey. And whilst City will bring guaranteed silverware, Grealish could be intrigued by the project of Villa.
And on social media, supporters couldn’t make head or tail over the deleted post from Sam Lee.
Here’s what some fans had to say on Twitter about this somewhat twist in the Grealish and City saga…
