Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers goalkeeper is said to be a target of Mark Warburton at Nottingham Forest.
Warburton brought Foderingham with him to Ibrox, while he was in charge at Rangers.
And during the 54-year-old’s time in charge of the Glasgow club, he always spoke very highly about Foderingham’s ability.

He said: “He is a first-class keeper. I’ve seen him many times down south. He played 175 league games as a young keeper and he’s only 24 years old. We are demanding of Wes to play with his feet – really challenging him every single day – and you saw the quality we displayed again today. He has been first class and I think Wes has the capability to go to a higher level.
“I don’t mean that in terms of his club, but in terms of how far he can go in the game. I think he could be [an international goalkeeper]. You look at him; his distribution, his shape, he comes for crosses, he is assured, he dominates his area. He kicks so well off of both feet and you saw his quality at basic shot-stopping as well.”
Whether Forest will be able to get a deal over the line for Foderingham remains to be seen, as he has played a key role at Rangers.
Pedro Caixinha has kept picking Foderingham, despite also having Jak Alnwick available, and the Ibrox side’s stopper has generally been in solid form.
Forest are believed to be on the look out for a new goalkeeper this season, and have funds to spend following the sale of Britt Assombalonga to Middlesbrough earlier this week.
