Peacock-Farrell recently signed a new contract at Leeds United, but he does not appear to feature in the Whites’ plans at senior or under-23 level.

What next for Bailey Peacock-Farrell at Leeds United?
The highly-rated goalkeeper has returned from a month-long spell at York City, for which he received mixed reviews.
Leeds handed him a new three-year contract before then, but although he has trained with Thomas Christiansen’s first team, Peacock-Farrell is yet to make an appearance for them this this season – nor is he playing for the Under-23s, with Will Huffer and Harrison Male preferred instead.
Despite the questionable form of senior pair Andy Lonergan and Felix Wiedwald, it would be some surprise if Peacock-Farrell is suddenly involved against Middlesbrough, the club at which he spent his early teenage years, on Sunday – leaving him in something of a black hole between Leeds’ senior and development sides.

He was, after all, supposed to move to Oldham Athletic on loan in August, only for the League One side to change their mind at the eleventh hour. And it is as if Leeds made their plans with Peacock-Farrell’s exit in mind and no longer know what to do with him. He is too inexperienced to play in the first team, it is bad for Huffer if he is dropped to the Under-23s.
One suspects Leeds will try again to sort a temporary home for the 21-year-old in January, and he will almost certainly hope they are successful this time around.
He is in danger of regressing otherwise.
