Sam Allardyce has already signed Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott for Everton and is now reportedly looking at Jamie Vardy.

Former Everton boss Ronald Koeman failed to replace Romelu Lukaku with a single striker in the summer.
Now his successor Sam Allardyce is trying to do it with three. Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott are already through the door at Goodison Park, and Sky Sports is reporting that there is strong interest in Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy.
Although Sky Sports adds that an offer this January is unlikely, the 31-year-old’s arrival in the summer would complete the transformation of a Toffees strike force which lacked pace and goals in the first half of the season.

But what would that mean for the man who carried them through that difficult period – Dominic Calvert-Lewin?
The 20-year-old took the weight of the dark post-Lukaku days on his shoulders and impressed with his direct running, work rate and physicality, a combination which made him a handful for defenders in Europe and the Premier League.
His return of seven goals and six assists in 35 appearances is not outstanding, but is promising for a youngster getting his first consistent taste of top-flight action, and also reflective of Everton’s attacking struggles.
Tosun, a £27m acquisition from Besiktas – fee reported by Sky Sports – went straight into the team ahead of Calvert-Lewin for the 4-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, while Walcott is bound to be a regular having joined from Arsenal.

There is no guarantee that Vardy would swap Leicester for Everton, which at the moment is a sideways move, but if the England forward did move to Goodison Park at the end of the season then it wouldn’t be to sit on the bench.
That would leave Calvert-Lewin fourth in the striking pecking order, and although the England Under-21 international is versatile, Everton’s attacking midfield ranks are already crowded with Wayne Rooney and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Calvert-Lewin only signed a new five-year contract on Merseyside shortly after Allardyce’s arrival in December, but he is slipping further out of the Everton manager’s long-term plans with every attacking signing that the club makes.
