Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain named five of his favourite technical players in the game – and wouldn’t you know, the Liverpool star was on it.
Thiago, a £20 million signing by the Reds last summer, makes the game look so easy as he glides around the pitch in a similar way as a Luka Modric for example.

His first year on Merseyside was a stuttering one due to injury and positive COVID tests.
Next time around, he’ll need to be a lot more reliable, even if he is absolutely brilliant on his day.
That’s because Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp won’t be able to call on the industry of Gini Wijnaldum, who has joined Neymar in the French capital after his contract expired on Merseyside.
Those are very big boot to fill when you consider Wijnaldum’s importance down the years and even though Klopp will have his defence back – Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez etc – he’ll need somebody to step up for the Netherlands international.
