Toni Martinez has hardly been given a sniff at West Ham despite shining in the reserve side.

David Moyes’ first steps at West Ham United will be to identify which areas of his new side’s performances are going wrong, and that should see his attention immediately turn to the final third.
Summer signing Javier Hernandez has managed just four goals all season, failing to score in a match that West Ham have won, while Andy Carroll is yet to open his account for the 2017-18 campaign.
With the January transfer window looming, Moyes could be tempted to scour the market for a new goal machine to push the Hammers away from the bottom three of the Premier League.

It is said that former Everton, Manchester United and Sunderland manager Moyes tried to sign 25-year-old 25-year-olIngs during his time as manager of La Liga outfit Real Sociedad.
But before Moyes looks to add Ings or indeed any other strikers, he must give 20-year-old hotshot Toni Martinez a chance to impress in the West Ham first team.
His goalscoring form has been second to none for the reserve side, amassing 10 goals in 11 appearances including a brace against Bristol Rovers’ senior side in the Checkatrade Trophy.

It is unbeknown to some sections of the London Stadium faithful as to why the former Oxford United loanee is yet to be given a chance, with the Hammers struggling in the final third this season.
The former Valencia youth ace boasts a bit of everything; a degree of pace that allows him to run the channels and get in behind, but also the physical prowess to challenge defenders in the air and compete man to man.
Giving him a run in the first team, starting with Sunday’s trip to Watford, could be the key in turning the Hammers fortunes on their head.
