Some Leeds United fans have called for the club’s Sporting Director Victor Orta to leave, according to a journalist.

Leeds Live reporter Beren Cross has said on Twitter that during the second half of the Premier League game between Fulham and Leeds at Craven Cottage in London on Saturday afternoon, fans of the West Yorkshire club called for Orta to go.

Leeds are in real danger of getting relegated from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of the season.

And Javi Gracia’s side suffered a defeat at the hands of Fulham on the road this afternoon.

According to Cross, Leeds fans at the game were not happy with Orta and called for him to leave.

Tough for Leeds

It is really tough for Leeds United at the moment.

Yes, the Whites could still escape the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season, but the fans want more.

Leeds were in danger of getting relegated last season as well.

It seems that the West Yorkshire club are simply unable to progress.

Now, of course, Leeds fans do not expect the team to suddenly challenge for the European places, but it would not be too much to ask of the club chiefs to try to build a side who can at least aim for mid-table respectability.
