Could Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha find himself at Tottenham Hotspur after the summer transfer window ends?
Tottenham have yet to make a signing in the summer transfer window and have also lost England international right-back Kyle Walker to Premier League rivals Manchester City.
Former Spurs midfielder Redknapp, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, has suggested that Spurs could make a late offer for 24-year-old winger Zaha.
“I think Barkley would be the perfect player to do something different and I wouldn’t even be surprised if they put in a late bid for Wilfried Zaha,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.

Former Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport, has also suggested that the North London outfit could make a move for Zaha late in the window in the hope that the transfer fee comes down.
“I know names like Ross Barkley and Wilfried Zaha have been mentioned, but the prices for those players has been overinflated so Spurs will probably wait until closer to the end of the transfer window and hope the fee comes down,” Jenas told the GQ Magazine.
Given that Barkley’s current contract with Tottenham runs out next summer, Tottenham could well be waiting until towards the end of the summer transfer window to make a move.

However, it is hard to see Zaha joined Spurs this summer. After all, the Ivory Coast international winger signed a new five-year contract with Palace only in May.
Of course, anything is possible in the summer transfer window, but given that the former Manchester United winger committed his long-term future to Palace just over two months ago, it is hard to imagine the Eagles or Zaha making a U-turn on that commitment.
Moreover, as per Zaha’s new terms, he is earning £110,000 per week at Palace, according to The Guardian.
Would Tottenham be willing to pay the winger over £100,000-a-week as salary when their best-paid players Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris earn around earn about £100,000 per week, according to The London Evening Standard?
