Laurent Koscielny has admitted that he is perfectly content to be at Arsenal and is not going anywhere.
Arsenal’s vice captain is not going to seek a move away from the Emirates. Laurent Koscielny, 31, is now focussed on the season ahead and says he enjoys being at Arsenal, as reported in the Evening Standard.
“I have a long contract with Arsenal and I have [no reason] to leave the club,” he is quoted as saying. “I am just here to enjoy my job and give everything for the team, and get the best results for the club. If I can do all of that, then I am happy.”

There is a feeling of more unity starting to take shape at Arsenal. The disappointment of last season’s league finish outside of the top four has perhaps gathered those loyal to Arsene Wenger to be even more determined to bring Arsenal success.
Koscielny has rallied around Wenger and said: “I am happy to be here with him [Wenger] and to fight for him because he is a great person.”
The personal affection for his manager may be enough for Koscielny to distance himself from the transfer paper talk, but in June the Metro reported that Koscielny was hinting at a move to Marseilles.
Whether Koscielny’s view on matters has been clarified by being informed of who is staying and who is likely to leave Arsenal has not been reported, but the defender believes he is at the right club.
“I am happy in my life every day, not just the football but my life with my wife and kids in London. We enjoy it, that’s why I have stayed for a long time here,” Koscielny added.

An FA Cup win last season could also have given him belief that the club can win more trophies, but Koscielny has been at Arsenal since 2010 and the Premier League title will have been a major attraction to him originally signing from Lyons. Staying at Arsenal might not be about a lack of ambition, but more about not wanting to give up on a long held dream.
What is becoming clear is that Laurent Koscielny is as close to Wenger and Arsenal as he as ever been.
