Tottenham Hotspur fans are excited over suggestions that Wout Weghorst’s move could be very close now.
De Telegraaf have claimed that Weghorst has now played his last game for Wolfsburg as his move to Tottenham edges closer.
It is thought that Jose Mourinho is planning to hold talks with the target-man this week, as he looks to seal a deal for the striker.
And Tottenham supporters are excited over the possibility of Weghorst joining them in the near future.
If Weghorst was to join Tottenham he could finally take some of the goalscoring burden off Harry Kane.
Kane is Spurs’s only natural senior number nine currently, but Weghorst could be a brilliant impact substitute.
At 6ft 6inches he is a huge aerial presence, and he has also shown great finishing ability in the Bundesliga.
Weghorst has reached double figures in the league for each of the last five campaigns and if he could continue that record at Spurs he would be a wonderful addition.
