West Ham United have shown that they have the stomach for the fight in recent weeks.

Hammers stopper Darren Randolph has establish himself as Slaven Bilic’s first-choice goalkeeper this season, but he showcased a different kind of talent on the West Ham training ground this week, which led to a humorous Twitter exchange with WWE superstar Chris Jericho.

The Republic of Ireland international has been one of the Hammers’ most consistent performers this term, endearing himself to the fans with his full commitment to the cause.

Despite Bilic’s men suffering some heavy defeats, he has not been to blame for some of the lopsided score-lines that his side have been on the wrong end of.

And the 29-year-old took a moment out of training on Wednesday to showcase his wrestling skills, before being called out by Chris Jericho on Twitter:

Randolph will return to serious business tomorrow, as his side make the trip to the south coast to take on Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth, and a win will take them back inside the top half of the table, with Southampton not playing this weekend.

And the Hammers would do well to channel their inner Jericho by putting the Cherries to the canvas at the Vitality Stadium tomorrow.
