Harry Kane’s Tottenham Hotspur future has been thrown into doubt of late, with fans now fearing that he could move on this summer.
Concerns were raised when David Ornstein reported that Kane would actually like to leave Spurs this summer, even if it looked unlikely that he would be let go.
Then, Kane himself suggested to The Mirror that he would look at his future this summer, claiming that committing either way right now would be difficult.
With Manchester City now seeking a big-name striking addition having confirmed Sergio Aguero’s exit, oe major suitor has potentially emerged for Kane.
Now though, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has offered an update on Kane, and it may actually be a slice of good news for Tottenham fans.
Romano has told Give Me Sport that not only is it ‘difficult’ to see Kane leaving Tottenham any time soon, but Spurs are also planning to hold talks over a new deal with their star striker.

“I think it’s difficult to see Harry Kane out of Tottenham, really,” said Romano. “What I’m told is that Tottenham are planning with Harry Kane as part of the team and they want to discuss his contract in the coming months,” he added.
Kane, 27, is tied to Tottenham until the summer of 2024 by the terms of his current contract, so any team wanting to sign him would have to cough up big money.
If Kane signs another deal, it would surely signal that he is spending the rest of his career with Tottenham – though Spurs do need to show that he can win silverware with them rather than anywhere else.
