Swansea City made it six losses in seven with defeat to Manchester United on Sunday and it showed how far the club have gone backwards this season.
It’s been a season full of doom and gloom this term for Swansea City and there’s no sign of light after comfortable defeat to Manchester United on the weekend.
Bob Bradley has accumulated just one point from his four games in charge and his team sit just one goal above the bottom of the Premier League table.
Perhaps Swansea were always going to see defeat against a Manchester United side who were desperate to return for form and have a hugely talented squad.

However, it’s the manner in which Swansea allowed their guests to tear them a part which will disappoint the supporters and it may now hit home just how serious the current situation is.
Since their arrival in the premier League in 2011, Swansea have always been resilient and have always refused to lie down without a fight. Regardless of who has taken charge, the ‘Swansea way’ has been incorporated both mentally and in general play.
This season comes as an exception and it will be hard to take for the supporters watching on each week.

The Swans have always possessed a hidden sting which has seen them take down many big teams in this division during the last five years but even that seems to have gone.
The current group just don’t seem to care enough and with the right amount of individual talent to pull them through, Swansea are very much on the ropes.
Despite scoring in both of the last two, Swansea have allowed their opponents to secure three points without leaving third gear.

The Liberty Stadium was always a dreaded trip, regardless of what Premier League team you were and even hosting the Swans was often tricky.
But teams will now be looking forward to facing Bob Bradley’s team and with good reason.
Swansea don’t look capable of doing enough damage and don’t look resilient enough to keep their opponents out.
The South Wales club have to find a way to protect their Premier League existence and only time will tell if they will.
However, one of the most disappointing aspects for Swansea fans will be the death of the ‘Swansea way’ and all that goes with it.
