Former Tottenham Hotspur starlet Nathan Oduwa had a fine loan spell at Scottish Premiership giants Rangers in 2015.

Nearly sparking a rainbow flick on his debut and producing five assists in his first nine games, it’s fair to say Nathan Oduwa made one hell of an impression when he arrived at Rangers on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in 2015.
For a while at least, this uber-confident 19-year-old appeared to have the world at his feet with his speed and skill making him an immediate fans favourite amongst a typically hard-nosed Ibrox support.
But it didn’t last. Nothing does it seems, for a player whose career certainly hasn’t taken off four years on. In fact, it never even got on the runway.
Oduwa failed to make the grade at Tottenham, which is no slight on him. Spurs are a club with huge expectations and the likes of Tom Carroll and Josh Onomah, who were very highly rated in North London, were also unable to establish themselves in Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team plans.
But while Carroll and Onomah are still trying to carve out a career at a decent level, Oduwa finds himself without a club at the age of 23 and going nowhere fast.

After forgettable spells in Slovenia and Denmark, Oduwa was last spotted struggling to settle at Israeli top flight outfit Hapoel Hadera. The fleet-footed winger scored just twice in 22 games before disappearing out of the back door.
Oduwa had a trial at Swansea City earlier in the summer, manager Steve Cooper confirmed to Wales Online. But, for whatever reason, the Championship outfit decided against taking a punt on a player who has lost his way.
Who would have thought that brief spell at Rangers would still be the best of Oduwa’s career, four years on?
