Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has reportedly told Kenny Miller to train with the youngsters.

Pedro Caixinha may have just lost one of his allies at Glasgow Rangers, by reportedly dropping Kenny Miller from the first-team.
The Portuguese boss has already used a similar tactic since taking charge at Ibrox, with the likes of Josh Windass and Andy Halliday having to train with the youngsters last summer.

Caixinha’s decision to take such a stance with Miller is a big surprise though, especially as only three weeks ago the Scotland international forward spoke up in support of the Rangers boss.
“The training methods are pretty similiar to everywhere else I’ve been anyway,” Miller said, when asked about Caixinha’s preparation techniques.
“Listen, everyone has their own opinions on how it should be done at a football club. How you should train, how you shouldn’t train.
“At our place, if you are not playing, a lot of lads will do extra work.
“Some methods, some systems, suit some people and don’t suit others. You can’t keep everyone happy.”
Caixinha’s decision to cut Miller out of the first-team is a major risk, as he needs all the support he can get at this moment in time.

Caixinha is under huge pressure, following Rangers’ disappointing start to the new campaign.
It is true that Miller has not been in sparkling form this campaign, and he has still not scored a league goal.
But the forward is a popular figure within the Rangers dressing room, and it remains to be seen how his teammates will respond to Caixinha’s decision.
