Some Leeds fans are absolutely made up after seeing Adam Forshaw is finally set to return from injury.

The midfielder has been out of action for almost two years at this point, but after a long rehabilitation period, he’s finally edging back towards a first-team return.

The former Middlesbrough man is reportedly set to play a part for the Whites’ U23s on Friday evening as they face off against Aston Villa, and as you can imagine, United fans were very happy to hear this.

Forshaw played an hour in a behind closed doors friendly last week, but this will represent the fans’ first time to watch him in action as the U23s game is to be streamed online.

Fingers crossed Forshaw shines for the youth team and we see him back playing in Marcelo Bielsa’s side before the end of the season.

Here’s what the Elland Road faithful have been saying on social media…
