Is Wolverhampton Wanderers’ interest in on-loan Celtic ace Scott Bain a reflection on John Ruddy’s future at Molineux?

Something puzzled Wolverhampton Wanderers fans about goalkeeper John Ruddy on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old was named in the official Championship Team of the Season this week, a decision which was met with bewilderement from the Wolves faithful.
Ruddy, a summer signing from Norwich City, has had an up and down season on an individual level, despite Wanderers heading for Premier League promotion.
And is Nuno Espirito Santo preparing to replace him this summer?

According to The Sun, Nuno will rival Celtic and Hibernian for the signing of Scott Bain, who is on loan with Brendan Rodgers’s side after joining from Dundee in January.
The 26-year-old has impressed at Celtic but his long-term future seems up in the air and you wonder whether Wolves would be interested unless they had plans to either demote or offload Ruddy in the summer.
By the same token, Nuno might simply want a better number two than Will Norris – yet to make his Championship debut after joining last summer – but the Portuguese manager may well also want a better option than Ruddy. Time will tell whether they rival Celtic for Bain.
