Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to rumours that Gareth Bale could return to the club next season.
Eurosport claim that Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, is likely to keep Bale on board in North London after his recent loan spell.
The Wales international, who will take to the Euro 2020 stage this month, will return to Real Madrid upon the finale of the tournament.
It’s not yet known what Bale will do with his future, after an up and down time in Tottenham colours during the recently concluded campaign.
But it seems as though Levy has a deal in place where he can re-sign Bale once again and on the same terms of his recent contract.
Spurs fans have rightly pointed out that they don’t even have a manager in place, yet deals such as this are seemingly being done.
It is rather embarrassing for Tottenham that they don’t have a new manager through their doors, even though it has been a number of months since they sacked Jose Mourinho.
This is where the new manager would plan, sort out transfers and try to keep any wantaway stars on board.
But, of course, no one is in Tottenham’s dugout and there are no signs that a deal will be struck anytime soon, either.
Bale showed enough this season for Tottenham to take a punt on him again, but will the new coach take him on board if he has already signed up?
