It seems unlikely that Tottenham Hotspur star Vincent Janssen will be joining Fenerbahce.

Tottenham Hotspur beat Newcastle United 2-1 in their Premier League opener on Saturday afternoon to quell some of the frustration left over from a quiet transfer window.
The North Londoners failed to sign a single player, becoming the first Premier League club since 2003 to not strengthen during a summer transfer window.
It looked for a while that a deadline-day move for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish was on the cards, but the 22-year-old wound up staying with the Championship club.
But has another potential deal just broken down for Spurs?
According to The Evening Standard, Tottenham are ‘desperate’ to offload Vincent Janssen and Fenerbahce – where he spent last season on loan – seemed the most likely destination.
In fact, Turkish outfit Skor Sozcu reported a couple of weeks ago that a deal had been agreed for the Dutch striker to re-join the Istanbul giants.

That might be tricky now, however, as Fenerbahce have signed Islam Slimani on loan from Leicester City.
The Turkish side now have Slimani, Roberto Soldado and Andre Ayew as striking options, and it seems there is little room for the Lilywhites forward.
It does not mean that Janssen is staying in North London for the 2018-19 campaign, but it does mean that chairman Daniel Levy might have to start from scratch with regards to homing the 24-year-old.
