‘What could possibly go wrong?’: Some Leeds fans stunned at today’s announcement

Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the appointment of Mike Dean as the referee for the match against West Ham United next week.

Leeds will take on West Ham away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League next Monday evening.

The Premier League have announced on their official website today that Dean will be the match official.

Darren Cann and Derek Eaton will be the assistant referees, and Graham Scott will be the fourth official.

Dean is one of the best referees in the Premier League, but he is also a controversial one and has a reputation of dishing out cards.

Some Leeds fans have given their take on Twitter on Dean being appointed the referee for the game against West Ham.
