Newcastle United have been linked with another young winger.

According to the Mirror, Newcastle United would like to sign young midfielder Milot Rashica next month, but how would that impact summer signing Jacob Murphy?
Rashica is predominantly a winger, scoring three goals and providing four assists from that position for Dutch club Vitesse this season. However Murphy is starting to prove his worth out wide and any move for the Kosovo international could negate the impact of the former Norwich City man.

Murphy had to wait patiently for his chances at St. James’ Park this season. Yet he has now stepped up impressively and has been one of Newcastle’s rare bright spots in a poor run of form that shows no signs of ending.
As a result, Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez needs to make some smart signings in January, yet one wonders if a move for another raw winger is the right move, even for a reported £4million.

If Newcastle want more spark out wide they should give Rolando Aarons the chance to impress, while Murphy needs more time not less to showcase his own undeniable potential.
Rather than targeting more youngsters who will take time to settle in their new surroundings, Newcastle should be focusing on ready-made solutions, with a striker surely top of their wish list if they wish to ensure a relatively carefree 2018.
