England face a monumental clash with Germany in the round of 16 at Euro 2020.

The Three Lions’ first three games have felt slightly devoid of jeopardy, but this is where their tournament really ramps up.

For some fans, it might be an agonising wait until the start of the game but in the meantime, we’ve put together everything you need to know about how to watch England v Germany on TV and online.

WHEN IS ENGLAND V GERMANY ON TV?

England v Germany will take place on Tuesday 29th June 2021.

For some of the players, it will be the biggest game they’ve ever played in during their careers.

WHAT TIME DOES ENGLAND V GERMANY KICK-OFF?

England v Germany will kick off at 5pm.

That means there might be people across the country trying to organise an early finish at work.

IF ENGLAND BEAT GERMANY WHO DO THEY PLAY?

Now, we don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves. But it’s a question worth asking.

If England win on Tuesday, they’ll face the winner of the Sweden v Ukraine game, on at 8pm the same night.

If you really fancy looking miles ahead, Denmark and Czech Republic are potential semi-final opponents for England.

That looks an enticing prospect, but let’s take it one game at a time.

IF ENGLAND BEAT GERMANY WHEN IS THEIR NEXT GAME?

That clash with Sweden or the Ukraine would be on Saturday 3rd July.

The match would kick off at 8pm and take place in Rome.

ENGLAND V GERMANY TEAM NEWS

Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson made their first tournament appearances against Czech Republic and should be in contention here.

Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell will have finished their isolation in time to play.

Mount is far more likely to play than Chilwell, but it’s just whether Gareth Southgate throws them back in after a week without training with the squad.

Bukayo Saka was outstanding last Tuesday, when Phil Foden was dropped from the squad altogether because he’s on a yellow card. Southgate has some huge selection dilemmas.

A switch to a five-man defence to counter Germany’s wing-back system is also a possibility.

Whichever team he picks, Twitter will likely be furious an hour before the game, unfortunately. We need to get behind the manager and whichever team he picks, from the off.

OUR PREDICTION: ENGLAND V GERMANY

This one is tough to call. Germany were very average in their first and final group game, but in-between, produced a great performance against Portugal.

England are capable of winning this game and are yet to concede a goal. Plenty will depend on how they deal with the pressure of expectation.

Optimism is the order of the day ahead of this one. Imagine the euphoria across the country if England win.

We’re backing them to do it.

Our prediction: England 1-0 Germany
